This is a residential course being held at the Budock Vean Hotel on the Helford River, Cornwall. The course runs from the 12th March to the 15th March and is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to advance their skills further.
The entire package includes hotel accommodation, four-course dinner and coffee, full English breakfast and three days practical photography guidance. When you’re tired of looking through the viewfinder there’s always the unlimited golf, swimming, sauna, outdoor hot tub, tennis and snooker to keep you occupied. The course costs £525 per person in a standard room and £590 per person in a superior room for five nights from Sunday 11th March until Friday 16th March 2012.

DATE: 5th June 2012 | TIME: 10:00 – 16:00 | VENUE: Fowey
Due to demand we’ve scheduled a one day digital photography workshop for the 5th June 2012. The course will help you understand the functions of your DSLR camera & introduce you to some key photographic techniques. During the day you will learn about f-stops, shutter speeds and ISO settings & what difference they can make to your photography. You will also learn about the different modes on your camera and how to take advantage of them. As the day develops you will learn about composition, framing, depth of field, lenses and the digital process from your camera to the computer.
The day will include a mix of practical sessions as well as reviewing your own images & those of other photographers. We’ll also try and deal with any specific problems you may have.
Things you need to know:
Lunch is not included in the price as we would expect to be out & about during the day. Normally we will make plans to buy lunch at a local cafe or pub (depending on the suitability of the venue). During lunch we will also informally review the morning session. Please wear clothes suitable for active walking/outdoors & variable weather. Please bring your camera, any lenses and tripod (if you have one) in a suitable bag for location work. Please bring some photographs you’ve taken, good or bad, we’ll review these at the beginning of the session.
